The “Sabrina” fund
Well, One day we found ourselves shooting a family with a mother who was just diagnosed with lung cancer. Then a few weeks later, we found ourselves doing a shoot for a family with a daughter with a nondisjunction chromosomal disorder. It then became an idea to start the “Sabrina” fund, named after their daughter. What is the Sabrina fund you ask? The “Sabrina” fund is any time a photo session is purchased for a cancer patient or a “Special Needs” child, S.M.C. will donate 25% of the total photo package price to a charity relating to that person. For instance, if we do a family session of a child with cancer, or a child with autism, the donation will go to the “Make a Wish” foundation or Autism awareness. It is our way of giving back to the community.
